Huang Shan Mao Feng is one of China’s top ten most famous teas. Our Huang Shan Mao Feng is grown and crafted in the Mount Huangshan (Huizhuo) area of Anhui province and is also known as Anhui Tea by a local artisan. It was originally created by Xie Yuda during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty and has only grown in popularity since then due to its elegant aroma and taste.
Huang Shan Mao Feng is made from hand-picking spring leaves just after the Qingming rains and processed by traditional pan frying before drying. The yellowish green slightly curled leaves will entice you with their refreshing, floral and bright characteristics. Once steeped, the tea liquor is clear yellow jade with a rich, sweet, and smooth-tasting tea liquor- it is floral, buttery, with bean notes. Enjoy multiple steeps.
