This root is a delicious Spice! One of the main ingredients in Asian cooking especially in Japanese and Chinese cuisine for its sharp/spicy flavor. In the west Ginger is candied because of its sweet warming qualities. Ground Ginger is very important in many countries and many of our spices use it for one of the main bases. This is one of the worlds most common spices and for good reason!
