Early mornings in New Dehli, India the streets are filled with the sounds of local vendors shouting "Chai", "Chai" to the workers heading off to their jobs. This staple of Indian culture is simple to make as long as you have the spice on hand (luckily we have it blended just for you).
Masala Chai Tea Recipe

Ingredients
2 Tsp of Chai Masala Spice
2 Tablespoons of black tea (or 1 bag)
1 Cup Water
1 Cup whole milk (any kind will work)
2 Teaspoons of sugar (or more if you prefer it sweeter)
Optional: Whole star anise (for licorice flavor)
Instructions
Combine the spice, tea, water & milk in a sauce pan and bring to a boil then let steep on low heat for 10 minutes (DO NOT boil tea, it will turn bitter)
Remove from heat & add sugar
Strain and enjoy!
