Another incredible Icelandic salt, but this salt has a bit of history to tell. This salt has been harvested the same way that Vikings had done so in Iceland for thousands of years. When Iceland receives its winter storms giant kelp washes upon the black lava pebble shorelines. Vikings would take this giant kelp and light it on fire. As the kelp heats up the salt on its surface falls to the ground and is collected.
