Our Green Cardamom hails from Kerala India. Kerala is known for its rich culture, lush nature and of course abundant, high-quality spices. Cardamom in particular is famous in this region due to its bright green color and Its distinctive and strong flavor. There are so many layers of flavor in a cardamom pod it can be overwhelming to describe but I will do my best... think of a mixture of pepper, citrus, mint, pine, eucalyptus and subtle floral back notes.
 
In many countries, Cardamom is used to enhance tea. In India, they use it in Chai Tea. Adding Cardamom to your cooking is a great way to introduce yourself to a new and unique spice that will surely become one of your new favorites!
