This is a special seed, its very common in South Indian Curries and was even found in the tomb of the Egyptian king Tutankhamen. Its very distinctive nutty flavor can be added ground up into a powder or put in whole as they more commonly do in Sri Lanka. You must be cautious when cooking with Fenugreek Seeds as they release a very bitter flavor when overcooked.
