Originating from the region of Alta Verapaz, our organic cacao is grown in the cloud forests of Guatemala. Our farmers who produce this cacao are part of the collective we work closely with to ensure that farmers are compensated farely, so this way they can focus on providing the worlds best cacao! 

 

Our Guatemalan cacao is known as Criolla, but also can be several other species from this area. Its robust, nutty, very rich and has a slightly smokey flavor. This region is renowned for producing the best cacao in the world. 

 

After harvest our cacao is lightly toasted, this ensures that the quality and health benefits of the cacao are still there.
